Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notices to the respondents in the petition against the MDCAT examination and sought a reply from the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC). The petition, filed by three students, stated that 60,000 people are facing difficulties because of the MDCAT test conducted by PMC. The court has been requested to stop PMC from carrying out the controversial test. The students said they should hold the exam in public universities and not through any private institution. Read Students demand fresh MDCAT test on same day The petitions pleaded the court to restrain PMC from allowing admissions until the conclusion of the case. Sardar Abdul Razaaq filed the petition on behalf of the students, who have taken the plea that the procedure followed, this time around, for the medical test was illegal. The petitioners said that section 18 of PMC Act 2020 binds the conducting of tests across the country on the same date.
