COAS assures AJK premier of full support to Kashmir cause

Chief of the Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday assured Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi of the army's full support and commitment to the Kashmir cause and its people. Gen Bajwa congratulated the AJK PM, who called on the army chief, on the assumption of his new office and expressed his best wishes for the prosperity of the region. During the meeting, the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) including continued Indian unilateralism and situation along the Line of Control (LoC) was also discussed.
