Two people were killed while two others sustained serious injuries in separate road accidents in Dijkot on Tuesday. Police handed over the bodies of the two deceased to their heirs after taking necessary action and started searching for the drivers involved in the accidents. The injured victims were shifted to a hospital after receiving medical aid. The driver of the tractor-trolley near the Awanwala stop on Satiana Road showed negligence and hit 52-year-old Ghulam Rasool was riding a motorcycle, from behind. As a result of the incident, he was seriously injured and died. Separately, the driver of a speeding truck hit and injured 48-year-old Akmal, son of Rafiq, a resident of 75 JB Sohal while he was crossing Jhang Road, Panisra Chowk. He was rushed to Allied Hospital Faisalabad where he succumbed to his injuries. Moreover, 28-year-old Shahid Hussain, son of Ghulam Haider, and 17-year-old Altaf, son of Rashid, were injured when two containers collided near Millat Road, Dhanola stop.
