A woman staged a protest at Sessions Court and Chenab Chowk, where she was accusing her husband for killing their four-month-old daughter. Police said that Muqaddfas Bibi, a resident of Mohalla Naseerabad Street No. 7, Shahbaz Town, was recently married to Tajmal Hussain. But the couple fought over something a day ago after which Muqaddas left her four-month-old daughter Mehrab with her husband and went to her parent's house. Meanwhile, when the girl mysteriously died, and Hussain reported the death of the girl. Muqaddas Bibi along with her parents reached her husband's house and while arguing there said that my husband has killed four-month old Mehrab by throwing her on the ground. SHO Jhang Bazar Saqib Mehes reached the spot, took the body of a four-month-old girl in his possession after negotiating with the protesters and handed it over to her family after postmortem. Police said that action will be taken on receipt of post-mortem report, whereas a complaint of the mother of the deceased girl has already been registered. On the other hand, SHO Jhang Bazar Saqib Mehes said that the girl died due to illness and her father Tajmal Hussain was also has the report of the treatment given to Mehtrab.
