A 13-year-old boy was killed in a collision between a van and a tractor-trolley near Bahlak police station on Friday while five members of the same family, including a couple and two children were injured. The injured were shifted to Allied Hospital by the rescue services after giving them onspot medical aid. Police handed over the body of the deceased to his heirs after completing legal formalities. They have started an investigation to nab the runaway tractor-trolley driver. Sources added that Muhammad Shafi, son of Sher Ali, a resident of Faisal Park Okara, was on his way to Okara with his family on a passenger van when it was collided with a tractor-trolley near Bahlik. As a result, 13-year-old Allahyar, son of Muhammad Shafi died on the spot while his father 48-yearold Muhammad Shafi, mother 38-year-old Sughran Bibi, 15-year-old brother Ali Hasnain and 35-year-old van driver Zulfiqar Ali, son of Bashir Ahmed and 26-yearold Abdul Rashid, son of Amin were injured. Rescue 1122 team rushed the seriously wounded persons to the hospital for emergency treatment while the police handed over the body of the deceased to the heirs after postmortem examination.
