District police arrested two alleged drug peddlers and seized narcotics on Tuesday. A spokesperson for police said that during the ongoing drive against drug sellers in the district, Shahnikdar police team headed by SHO Nusrat Ali acting on a tip-off conducted raids at Chak 162NB and 163NB and arrested two drug peddlers identified as Azhar Ameer and Muhammad Ramzan. Police also seized 1.5 kgs of hashish and 20 litres of liquor from their possession. Police had registered cases against the accused. Published in The Express Tribune, December 23rd, 2020.
