District police on Tuesday arrested six alleged drug peddlers during an ongoing drive against narcotics in the district. A police spokesman said that on the direction of Sargodha DPO Zulfiqar Ahmed, teams of different police stations conducted raids in the district. They caught six drug pushers, seized 4.31 kgs of hashish, 10 litres of liquor, two 30-bore pistols and a gun from them. They were identified as Muhammad Siddique, Shaukat, Zulfiqar, Muhammad Iqbal, Nasir and Zahoor Ahmed. Separate cases were registered against all the accused.
