Punjab Minister for Agriculture Hussain Jahania Gardezi directed the officials concerned on Saturday to speed up the pace of work on ongoing uplift projects by ensuring quality of work.
While presiding over a district coordination committee meeting, he said the completed development projects should be inaugurated by elected representatives.
He also reviewed the law and order, coronavirus and dengue situation across the district. The provincial minister directed the officials to start process for deputing staff at completed educational institutions.
He further said Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar was paying special focus on development of the district.
The minister ordered blacklisting of contractors over use of substandard material.
