Police have apprehended a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) inspector and four others for stealing a pickup loaded with cooking oil and ghee from the New Karachi Industrial Area. Shehryar, an employee of Fatah Traders Company, reported the incident and stated that he was transporting the goods when a police mobile with six officers stopped him near Chand Market. They forcefully took him off the pickup and drove him around before abandoning him. Utilising the vehicle's tracker, the police located the pickup at a shop in the Garden area. During the raid, three individuals were caught unloading the stolen goods while another person managed to escape. The arrested individual, Mohammad Saeed, implicated Arsalan as the accomplice who had escaped and revealed that he had purchased the stolen items from Inspector Zafar Iqbal. Inspector Zafar Iqbal, who was stationed in CTD Intelligence, has been arrested, and an investigation has commenced.
