A 45-year-old laborer residing in the suburb village 39 12L, has taken his own life due to inflation. Shehzad Shahid was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his house, using a noose around his neck. The father of two children had been working at a shop, earning a meager salary. However, the relentless rise in inflation made it increasingly challenging for him to make ends meet. Like many impoverished individuals, Shahid struggled to cope with the mounting daily household expenses. The burden of unpaid children's fees and months of overdue house rent further exacerbated his predicament. The ruling class's apparent disregard for the plight of the poor and marginalized had pushed the country to the brink of bankruptcy. Faced with persistent poverty and deprivation, Shehzad Shahid found himself trapped in a state of hopelessness. Following the discovery of his body, the Saddar Police Station responded, removing the deceased from the scene and transferring him to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for further legal procedures.
