A special anti-terrorism court on Monday rejected the bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shehryar Afridi in the General Headquarters (GHQ) attack case. Judge Hamid Hussain pronounced the verdict. During the hearing, accused Afridi was brought to the court under tight security from Adiala Jail. The court in its decision rejected Afridi's bail application, extending his judicial remand till July 24. The court also ordered to present the challan of the accused arrested in the GHQ attack case. The RA Bazaar police station had registered the case of attack on the GHQ on May 9.
