The second case of sexual assault and resultant death of a toddler within two months have been reported in the provincial capital on Wednesday. In the recent incident, a two-year-old innocent child reportedly has died due to alleged sexual assault in Sattokatla. Kinza Bibi, a resident of Pakpattan, in her complaint before police said that she was married three years back. However, due to the difference with her husband she had been living with her parents for one and a half years. Two weeks back, she moved to Sattokatla village to stay with her foster uncle. She would leave her two-year-old child at home for work while her foster uncle’s son Ali Shan, would serve as a babysitter. On the day of the incident, when she returned home in the evening, she found her child lying unconscious near the door, naked - without a pamper and or a pyjama. Ali was also around. She along with a neighbour took her to Children Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
