A man committed suicide after touching lives wires of an electricity pole on Tuesday. Police handed over the body to his heirs after taking necessary action. According to the Rescue 1122 officials, 40-year-old Salahuddin, the son of Nabi Ahmed, a resident of Sargodha, climbed an electric pole and touched the wires in front of Nayab Gate, Rashidabad, Jhang Road area of Saddar police station. As a result, he was electrocuted and fell to the ground. Rescue 1122 personnel rushed to the spot and provided medical aid to the victim who eventually died on the spot. Police reached the scene, recovered the body and handed it over to his heirs. The deceased was reportedly employed at a truck stand and committed suicide for unknown reasons.
