Provincial Industries and Trade Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal said on Wednesday that the Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) would have to achieve zero-waste target by the evening of January 15 otherwise action would be initiated against those failing to achieve the said target. He expressed these views while talking to media during an inspection of different LWMC workshops at Sagian Bridge, Valencia Town and its main facility behind the Children's Hospital. The minister was irked over the presence of dysfunctional vehicles at the facilities.He directed the LWMC management to make sure that all the vehicles are immediately repaired and not abandoned at the workshops.
