Police claimed to have arrested three criminals involved in cheque dishonour on Saturday. The arrested suspects had been identified as Zulfiqar, Ashraf and Nauman. Police officials said that Zulfiqar and Ashraf were also wanted by police in cases of robbery. The suspect Nauman had been wanted by police for the last 11 years. Reportedly, he went into hiding after handing over a cheque to a citizen in return for cash. Police officials added that they were investigating the matter further.
